Deploying a workflow

Zuletzt aktualisiert : Apr 12, 2024 |

About this task

Deploy a workflow to make it available for use by the contact center. You can deploy one workflow at a time. You can redeploy a workflow if you make changes in the workflow and deploy it again.

Before you begin

Validate the workflow.

Procedure

  1. On the Orchestration Manager interface, click the Workflow Drafts tab.
  2. Select your workflow from the list and click Deploy.
  3. Optional In the Description field, enter a description for the workflow.
  4. If you deploy the workflow for the first time, in the Add Filters section, check the routing filters and update them, if necessary.

Initially, the Add Filters section contains the filters you specified in the Start Task of the workflow.

  5. If you redeploy the workflow and all associated routing rules are inactive, in the Routing Rules field, do one of the following:
    • Select the required routing rule from the list of available routing rules.

    • Create a new routing rule.

If a routing rule is already associated with this workflow, this field is not available.

  6. To overwrite the earlier deployed workflow, select Overwrite Deployment.

For all the instances that used the deployed workflow you overwrite, Orchestration shows the workflow as undeployed in the Deployed Workflow Name column of the Instances tab.

  7. Click OK.

Orchestration successfully deploys the workflow and activates the rule associated with the workflow.
