• Kafka Bootstrap Server in FQDN format resolve to an IP address. You can specify a Fully Qualified Domain Name and port in the mykafkabootstrapserver.example.com:port format.

• IP addresses follow the standard IP address format (dot notation). You can specify an IP address and port in the IP:port format. You must use either an explicit IPv4 address or an IPv6 address. Do not use an address that is in the combined IPv4 and IPv6 format.

• The Kafka Bootstrap Server format should match with the Subject Alternative Name (SAN) field of the Server Certificate used to connect Kafka Bootstrap Server.

• The field can take maximum up to 255 alphanumeric characters. You can specify any combination of Kafka Bootstrap Servers format (FQDN:Port or IP:Port) as you want in CSV format.
