Optional From the Server list, select the required Communication Manager to filter the list.
Find the existing user resource to update and click the Manage User Resources icon.
Admin Portal displays the Manage User Resources page.
Find the station to update and click the Edit icon.
From the Action list, select Renumber Extension.
In the New Extension field, enter a new extension number.
Select the Delete existing voicemail check box to erase the voicemail box content.
If you do not select the Delete existing voicemail check box, Admin Portal renumbers and retains the messages and the voicemail settings.
Click Submit.

If you change the default extension of an Avaya Experience Platform™ (On-Prem + Connect) user, Admin Portal synchronizes it with an Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud user and resets default password for the phone/softphone.
