Viewing a system log

About this task

From System Admin, you can build a search query to view the system logs for an application or an application component.

Procedure

  1. From System Admin, go to Logs > System Log.
  2. On the System Log page, from the Application list, select the required application.
  3. From the Log Level list, select the required log level.
  4. From the Date and Time (UTC) field, select the required start and end date and time range.
  5. Optional In the Search field, enter the text filter to search.
  6. Optional In the Thread Id field, enter a thread identifier for the search.
  7. Optional In the Highlight field, enter the text to highlight in the search results.

    System Admin displays a list of all matching system log entries for the application or application component that you select.
