Provisioning the analog and digital phones

Procedure

  1. On System Admin, add a media gateway group map.

    For information, see Adding a media gateway group map.

  2. On System Admin, initialize a media gateway group map.

    For information, see Initializing a media gateway group map.

  3. On System Admin, verify that the ports are displayed on the Phone Numbers  > Analog Digital Phone Ports page.
  4. To provision a new analog and digital user, on System Admin, create a System Manager template.

    For analog and digital phones, provide a SMGR CMEndPoint Template name with analog or digital phone type value in the CMTemplateName field.

  5. To provision users with analog and digital phones, do the following:
    1. From Admin Portal, go to Users > Manage.
    2. On the Users page, click Add.
    3. On the Provision User page, enter the required details and select the required Phone Type, Port, and Template details.

  6. To provision station with analog and digital phones, do the following:
    1. From Admin Portal, go to Resources > Station.
    2. On the Station page, click Add.
    3. In the Add Station dialog box, enter the required details and select the required Phone Type, Port, and Template details.
