Company Name

Enter the default company name.

Feature Group Name

The feature group name determines the rules for the associated voicemail box. The following are the four feature groups:

  • Default users: A feature group that is commonly used for most users.

  • Basic users: A feature group for users with limited voicemail functionalities.

  • Mobility users: A feature group for mobility users.

  • Professional users: A feature group for users with a specific set of professional functionalities.

In the Feature Group Name field, enter Default users.

Department Name

This field is optional. To request other department names, open a ticket with Avaya.

Enter the default department name.

Storage Mode

Select Database.

Use Feature Group Settings for IMAP

Use Feature Group Settings for IMAP has two values:

  • Yes: Select this option to use the feature group settings for IMAP.

  • No: Select this option to not use the feature group settings for IMAP.

Select No. Avaya Aura® does not support IMAP synchronization.

Mailbox Capability

Mailbox capability has two values:

  • Basic: Select this option to use the basic license type.

  • Advanced: Select this option to use the advanced license type.

Select Advanced to explore enhanced functionalities and unlock advanced features such as the voicemail to email feature. A basic license supports standard voicemail features, enabling you to send and receive voicemails seamlessly.

NumericPassword

Use the NumericPassword key to set a unique and secure numeric password to access your voicemail box using a phone.

In Avaya Aura®, the minimum numeric password length is set to 8, and the maximum length is 20 numbers.

MailPassword

Use the default value.

LIFO

Select Yes to set the Message Playback order to LIFO.

The default value is No. The optional key displays the newest message first.

MbxShowGettingStarted

The optional key has two values:

  • Yes: Select this option to display the Getting Started page.

  • No: Select this option to disable the Getting Started page.

MbxShowToolTips

The optional key has two values:

  • Yes: Select this option to display the Hints help documentation.

  • No: Select this option to disable the Hints help documentation.

TimeZoneId

Select a time zone from the list.

require_MessageForwardAddress

The optional key has two values:

  • Yes: Select this option to add the message forward address for the mailbox.

  • No: Select this option to disable the message forward address for the mailbox.

Use the default value.

require_EmailAddress

The optional key has two values:

  • Yes: Select this option to add an email address in the addresses for the mailbox.

  • No: Select this option to disable adding an email address in the addresses for the mailbox.

require_ReplyToAddress

The optional key has two values:

  • Yes: Select this option to add a reply address to the addresses in the mailbox.

  • No: Select this option to disable the reply to address to the addresses in the mailbox.

enable_AttachmentForMessageForwardAddress

The optional key has two values:

  • Yes: Select this option to enable the attachment for the message forward address for the mailbox.

  • No: Select this option to disable the attachment for the message forward address for the mailbox.

MessageForwardAddress_MessageType_Email

The optional key has two values:

  • Yes: Selects the Email check box for Message Type on the User Message Forward Properties page of the Avaya Messaging (IXM) interface.

  • No: Clears the Email check box for Message Type on the User Message Forward Properties page of the Avaya Messaging (IXM) interface.

MessageForwardAddress_MessageType_Fax

The optional key has two values:

  • Yes: Selects the Fax check box for Message Type on the User Message Forward Properties page. of the Avaya Messaging (IXM) interface.

  • No: Clears the Fax check box for Message Type on the User Message Forward Properties page of the Avaya Messaging (IXM) interface.

MessageForwardAddress_MessageType_MissedCall

The optional key has two values:

  • Yes: Selects the Missed Call check box for Message Type on the User Message Forward Properties page of the Avaya Messaging (IXM) interface.

  • No: Clears the Missed Call check box for Message Type on the User Message Forward Properties page of the Avaya Messaging (IXM) interface.

MessageForwardAddress_MessageType_Voice

The optional key has two values:

  • Yes: Selects the Voice check box for Message Type on the User Message Forward Properties page of the Avaya Messaging (IXM) interface.

  • No: Clears the Voice check box for Message Type on the User Message Forward Properties page of the Avaya Messaging (IXM) interface.

AddressTypeEmail_EmailDomain

This field is optional.

Based on the formatter configuration in the Database configuration, this is used as a domain while formatting email address while adding entry for address type Email.

By default, the user email is used as it is in the email address.

AddressTypeReplyTo_EmailDomain

This field is optional.

Based on the formatter configuration in the Database configuration, this is used as a domain while formatting email address while adding entry for address type ReplyTo.

By default, the user email is used as it is in the email address.

IMAPEmailAddressDomain

This field is optional.

Based on the formatter configuration in the Database configuration, this is used as a domain while formatting email address for the voicemail.

By default, the user email is used as it is in the email address.

MessageForwardAddressEmailDomain

This field is optional.

Based on the formatter configuration in the Database configuration, this is used as a domain while formatting message forward email address.

By default, the user email is used as it is in the email address.

MFAHtmlContent

The optional key includes the URL in the email to listen to voicemail.

The default value is No.
