Configuring Avaya Spaces Calling settings on Avaya Aura Web Gateway

About this task

Provide Avaya Spaces Calling Gateway settings to Avaya Aura® Web Gateway. Avaya Aura® Web Gateway uses these settings to generate authorization data, which you must export to Avaya Spaces to complete the integration process.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Avaya Aura® Web Gateway administration portal as an administrator.
  2. Navigate to System Overview.
  3. In the System Settings area, in System Name, type a meaningful name that allows to uniquely identify your Avaya Aura® Web Gateway system.
    Avaya Spaces displays this name to users on the User Preferences screen. Avaya Spaces also uses this name when you configure integration settings in the Avaya Spaces Admin Area.
    Note:

    You can change this name at any time, and it will not affect the existing integration with Avaya Spaces.

  4. Navigate to Spaces Configuration > Spaces Calling.
  5. From Country and Region, select the geographical location of your Avaya Aura® Web Gateway cluster.
  6. Ensure that the Gateway Connection Manager Address value is communication-services.avayacloud.com.
  7. Ensure that the Gateway Connection Manager Port value is 443.
  8. Click Generate Key.

    Avaya Aura® Web Gateway generates a public key, which is required to authorize Avaya Aura® Web Gateway on Avaya Spaces.

  9. Ensure that the Enable Spaces Calling Gateway Cluster check box is not selected.

    You will select this check box after configuring Avaya Aura® Web Gateway settings on Avaya Spaces.

  10. Click Save.
  11. Click Export key and copy the authorization data.

    You must use this data when configuring Avaya Aura® Web Gateway settings on Avaya Spaces.

    Avaya Aura® Web Gateway uses JSON format to store the authorization data. The following is an example of the authorization data:
