Enabling Maintenance mode

About this task

If you use Avaya Spaces Calling Gateway, enable Maintenance mode before performing operations that involve restarting Avaya Aura® Web Gateway nodes, such as Avaya Aura® Web Gateway upgrade. When in Maintenance mode, most of the Avaya Spaces Calling Gateway features are unavailable.

Maintenance mode is intended for cluster Avaya Aura® Web Gateway deployments. Do not use Maintenance mode if you have a standalone deployment.

Important:

Disable Maintenance mode after performing the required operations.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Spaces Configuration > Spaces Calling.
  2. Select the Enable Maintenance Mode check box.
  3. Click Save.
  4. In the confirmation window, click Proceed.

Next Steps

Perform the required operations and then disable Maintenance mode.
