Configuring idle timeout

Last Updated : Jan 10, 2022 |

About this task

By default, the AWS environment sets the idle timeout for the Elastic load balancer to 60 seconds. Set this value to 150 seconds to provide Avaya Aura® Web Gateway enough time for cluster wide operations like generating certificates, collecting logs, and restarting services.

Procedure

  1. On the Amazon Web Services Management console, navigate to Services  > EC2  > Load Balancers.
  2. Select the created load balancer.
  3. On the Destination tab, click Edit idle timeout.
  4. In Idle timeout, enter 150.
  5. Click Save.
