Creating a team

About this task

Create teams to establish formal spaces for communication with your colleagues. You can create the following types of teams:

  • Private: Makes the team visible only to its members. Colleagues can join private teams through an invitation.

  • Public: Makes the team visible to all colleagues. Colleagues can join public teams without an invitation.

Procedure

  1. Tap the Message tab.
  2. At the bottom-right corner, tap The plus icon.
  3. Tap Create team.

    Avaya Cloud Office Mobile App displays the Create team page.

  4. In the Team name field, type a name for the team.
  5. From the Team type list, select one of the following options:
    • Private (invite only)

    • Public (visible to any co-worker)

  6. Tap Members.

    Avaya Cloud Office Mobile App displays the Members page.

  7. In the Members field, type the name or phone number of the member to add.
  8. Select the member you want to add from the search results.
  9. Optional To add more members, repeat the steps 7 and 8.
  10. Tap NEXT.

    Avaya Cloud Office Mobile App redirects you to the Create team page.

  11. Tap The tick icon.

    Avaya Cloud Office Mobile App displays the conversation page for the newly created team.
