Adding a new member to a call queue

About this task

Add or remove members from a call queue. You can control the availability of the added call queue members with the following options:

  • Member Status: To control member availability for all call queues.

  • Queue Status: To control member availability for your call queue.

Avaya Cloud Office™ notifies new members with a system-generated email when they are added to a call queue.

Procedure

  1. Click Phone System > Groups > Call Queues.
  2. Click the call queue to configure.
  3. Click the Call Handling & Members drop-down menu.

    Avaya Cloud Office™ displays the Work hours tab by default.

  4. Next to Primary Members, click + Add Member.
  5. On the Call Queue Members window, select the members to add.
  6. Click Done.
  7. Optional Set Member Status and Queue Status switches as required.

    For example, if a member is out of the office, switching off Member Status stops calls from being directed to them.

  8. Click Save.
