Configuring after-hours call forwarding for a call queue

About this task

Forward after-hours calls that your call queue receives to an external number or extension.

Procedure

  1. Click Phone System > Groups > Call Queues.
  2. Click the call queue to configure.
  3. Click Call Handling & Members > After Hours.
  4. Under How to handle calls during after hours, do one of the following:
    • Select Play an announcement to play an announcement audio.

    • Select Send to voicemail to divert the call to voicemail.

    • Select Forward to external number, and type an external number.

    • Select Forward to extension, and click Edit to select an extension from the list.

    Forward to extension is selected.

  5. Click Save.
