Configuring the welcome email for new users

About this task

Customize the welcome email that Avaya Cloud Office™ sends to new users to add the following:

  • An image, which can be up to 350 x 60 pixels in dimension

  • A message limited to 750-characters

  • A contact email address for support

  • A phone number for support

  • A webpage link for support

Important:

Welcome email configuration is only available on Premium or Ultimate subscription plans.

Procedure

  1. From the Admin Portal homepage, click More > Account Settings > Appearance.

    Avaya Cloud Office Service Web displays the Company Logo tab.

  2. Click the Email Notifications tab.

    Avaya Cloud Office Service Web provides a preview of the default welcome email.

  3. Optional To change the language, do the following:
    1. From the Language list, select the language and click Update Preview.

      Avaya Cloud Office Service Web translates the email into the selected language.

  4. In the Customize Email Notifications section, update the following fields:
    • Custom Logo: Enter an image URL to add a custom logo to your email header. The image dimensions cannot exceed 350 x 60 pixels.

    • Message: Add up to 750-characters long custom message to the footnote of the email.

    • Contact Email: Add a support email address to the footnote of the email.

    • Support Contact Phone Number: Add a support phone number to the footnote of the email.

    • Support Website: Add a webpage URL to the footnote of the email.

  5. In the Customize Welcome Email section, select or clear the following check boxes:
    • Include main company number

    • Include direct number

    • Include Avaya Cloud Office Support Center information

  6. Optional To view your customized email, scroll down and click Update Preview.
  7. Click Save.
