Remove the primary number of a phone and move this phone number to your inventory, or permanently delete it. You can later assign the phone numbers you move to your inventory.
Procedure
From the Admin Portal homepage, navigate to Phone System > Phone Numbers > Numbers in Use.
Click the phone number.
You can use the Search field to narrow down your search.
For example, you can type a user's name.
Click Phone Properties.
On the confirmation dialog box, click Yes.
Avaya Cloud Office Service Web directs you to the settings page for the phone to which that phone number is assigned.
In the Assigned To section, click Remove Line.
