Configuring a limited extension announcement and hold music

Last Updated : Mar 03, 2025 |

About this task

An incoming call rings for 20 seconds on the assigned device. If not answered, the caller can hear an announcement and then gets disconnected.

You can create announcement greetings for unanswered calls or change the announcement settings. The default greeting message is: "I'm sorry. No one is available to take your call. Thank you for calling. Goodbye!".

Instead of using a greeting announcement, you can set music.
