Configuring Voicemail & Notifications

About this task

The voicemail greeting and notification settings for the delegated line can be set up during and after work hours.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Admin Portal.
  2. Click Phone System > Groups > Delegated Lines.
  3. Select a delegated line and click the Voicemail & Notifications drop-down.
  4. Under the Work hours tab, click Edit schedule to change your work hours.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Under the Voicemail greeting (work hours) section, click Edit to change your voicemail greeting.
  7. Click Done.
  8. Under the Send voicemail to section, select between the existing extension or another extension to send your voicemail messages.
  9. Click the After hours tab.
  10. Click Edit schedule and change your work hours.
  11. Click Save.
  12. Click the Settings tab.
  13. Click Edit to update the notification settings for voicemail messages, received faxes, missed calls, and received text messages.
  14. Add the email addresses to send the email notifications in the Send email notifications to section.
  15. In the Send SMS notifications to section, select the carrier and add a phone number to send SMS notifications.
  16. Click Save.
  17. Toggle on the Voicemail to text to get a text version of the voicemail.
