Duo Access Gateway (DAG) acts as an identity provider, authenticating users using their authentication resource credentials. DAG uses the SAML 2.0 authentication standard to authenticate users. To use DAG authentication capabilities, you must register your SAML 2.0 application on DAG.
Before you begin
Create an SAML 2.0 application on Duo Admin Panel.
Ensure that you have the configuration file in JSON format for your SAML 2.0 application.
Procedure
Log in to the DAG administration portal as the administrator.
In the left navigation pane, click Applications.
In the Add Application section, click Choose File and then select the configuration file in JSON format for your SAML 2.0 application.
Click Upload.
DAG displays your SAML 2.0 application in the Applications area.
Navigate to the Metadata area, click Download XML metadata, and save the configuration metadata file in XML format on your computer.
