Creating users on IBM SVA

About this task

Use this procedure to add a user who requires SSO capabilities on IBM SVA.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the IBM SVA Administration dashboard as the administrator.
  2. In the left navigation pane, navigate to User&group.
  3. Click the Users tab.
  4. Click Add user.

    The IBM SVA Administration dashboard displays the Add user window.

  5. In Identity source, select Cloud Directory.
  6. In Status, select On.
  7. In Given Name, type the first name of the user.
  8. In Surname, type the last name of the user.
  9. In User name, type a unique identifier for the user.
  10. In Work e-mail, type the email address of the user.

    IBM SVA sends the user password to this email address. The user can change the password on the first login.

  11. Optional Complete other fields on the Add user as appropriate.
  12. Click Save.
