Assigning groups to your IBM SVA SAML application

About this task

You must assign a group to the IBM SVA SAML v2.0 application that contains users requiring SSO capabilities.

Before you begin

Create a SAML application on IBM SVA as described in Creating a new SAML v2.0 application on IBM SVA.
Create the required user groups as described in Configuring user and administrator groups.

Procedure

Log in to the IBM SVA Administration dashboard as the administrator.
In the left navigation pane, navigate to App role management.
On the App role management page, click the Permissions tab.
Select your SAML application and then click Manage membership.
On the Basic access page, click the Groups tab.
Click Assign new groups.
Select the user group and the administration group that you created and then click Add group.
