Assigning a group to an OKTA SAML application

About this task

You must assign a group to the OKTA SAML v2.0 application that contains users requiring SSO capabilities.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the OKTA administration portal as the administrator.
  2. Navigate to Application.
  3. Select your SAML application.
  4. Go to Assignments tab.
  5. Click Assign and then click Assign to Groups.

    OKTA displays the list of available groups.

  6. Click Assign for the group you want to assign to the application.
  7. Click Done.
