Creating users on OneLogin

About this task

Use this procedure to add a user who requires SSO capabilities on OneLogin.

You can review the created users by navigating to Applications > <Your application name> > User.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the OneLogin administration console as an administrator.
  2. Navigate to Users > Users.
  3. Click New User.
  4. In First Name, type the first name of the user.
  5. In Last Name, type the last name of the user.
  6. In Email, type the email address of the user.
  7. Select the Active check box.
  8. Click Save.
  9. On the user's page, navigate to the Applications tab.
  10. In the Applications area, click the Plus icon.
  11. From the list of applications, select your SAML 2.0 application, and then click Continue.
  12. In Group, enter one of the following group names:
    • admin: Type this value if you want to provide the administrator rights to the user.

    • user: Type this value if you do not want to provide administrator rights to the user.

    The SSO capabilities are available to members of both these groups.

  13. Click Save.
  14. Click Save User.
