The use of Enterprise SSO for Avaya Spaces integration

Last Updated : Jun 10, 2026 |

Avaya recommends that you enable Enterprise SSO on Avaya Spaces before configuring integration between Avaya Aura® Device Services and Avaya Spaces. When Avaya Aura® Device Services creates a user on Avaya Spaces, Avaya Spaces assigns a random password to this user, but Avaya Aura® Device Services does not have information about this password. Therefore, when a user tries to log in to Avaya Spaces, one of the following occurs depending on whether Enterprise SSO is enabled:

  • If Enterprise SSO is enabled, the user should log in to Avaya Spaces using the Enterprise SSO login option. The user enters their enterprise credentials to log in.

If these users need to change their passwords, they must contact their enterprise IT service.

  • If Enterprise SSO is disabled, the user must use the Forgot Password functionality to set up their password first. After the password is set up, the user can log in to Avaya Spaces.
