Limiting the System Manager contact search

Before you begin

Select LDAP servers you want to use for contact search as described in Selecting LDAP servers for the contact search. Avaya Aura® Device Services searches for contacts only in the LDAP directories that you selected for contact search.

Procedure

  1. On the Avaya Aura® Device Services web administration portal, navigate to System Parameters > Parameter Configuration.
  2. For the RESTRICTED_SMGR_CONTACT_SEARCH parameter, select the appropriate value as follows:

    • true: To exclude System Manager contacts from the search results when a user searches for contacts.

    • false: To include System Manager contacts in the search results when a user searches for contacts. This option is the default value.

  3. Click Save.
