Selecting interactive or non-interactive upgrade mode for Avaya Workplace Client for Windows

Last Updated : Jun 05, 2026 |

About this task

You can configure an Avaya Workplace Client for Windows installer to run in either interactive or non-interactive mode.

  • Interactive upgrade is the default upgrade option that requires user interaction with the installer.

  • Non-interactive upgrade requires no user interaction with the installer. After the user starts the upgrade process, the client installs updates automatically using the default options.

If you configured non-interactive upgrade for an installer, the user cannot run this installer in interactive mode.

The minimum supported Avaya Workplace Client for Windows version for this feature is 3.18.
