If you plan to use antivirus software on Avaya Aura® Device Services, ensure that the following prerequisites are met:

Prerequisites for OVA-based deployments

• Increase the virtual machine RAM memory by 4 GB.

  For example, if your virtual machine has 15 GB RAM, increase it by 4 GB to 19 GB RAM in total.

• Change the SELinux mode to permissive.

Prerequisites for sotware-only deployments

• If the current RAM memory of your virtual machine or cloud instance is less than 19 GB, increase it by 4 GB.

  For example, if your virtual machine has 16 GB RAM, increase it by 4 GB to 20 GB RAM in total.

• Allocate at least 6 GB of swap space on RHEL.

• Change the SELinux mode to permissive.
