Repeat these steps for all Avaya Aura® Device Services nodes in the cluster.
Before you begin
Deploy the Avaya Aura® Device Services OVA.
Note:
Avaya Aura® Device Services is available only with Avaya Workplace Client 3.0.
Procedure
On the System Manager web console, click Services > Inventory.
In the left navigation pane, click Manage Elements.
On the Manage Elements page, click New.
The system displays the New Elements page.
In the General section, from the Type field, select Avaya Aura Device Services.
The system refreshes the page and displays the New Avaya Aura Device Services page.
On the General tab, perform the following:
In the Name field, type the name of the Avaya Aura® Device Services server.
In the Description field, type the description of the Avaya Aura® Device Services server.
In the Node field, type the IP of the Avaya Aura® Device Services server.
On the Attributes tab, perform the following:
In the Login field, type the administrator login name to access the Avaya Aura® Device Services server.
In the Password field, type the administrator password to access the Avaya Aura® Device Services server.
In the Confirm Password field, retype the administrator password to access the Avaya Aura® Device Services server.
In the Version field, type the version of the Avaya Aura® Device Services server.
In the Location field, type the location name of the Avaya Aura® Device Services server.
Go back to the General tab.
Important:
Access profiles of type GRCommunication and TrustManagement are available by default.
Select the TrustManagement access profile, and click Edit.
In the Access Profile Details section, in the Name field, type a name for the access profile.
In the Access Profile Type field, click Trust Management .
In the Protocol field, click https.
In the Host field, type the FQDN or IP address of the Avaya Aura® Device Services server.
Important:
If you provide an IP address, you must use the IPv4 address of the Avaya Aura® Device Services server even if IPv6 is enabled on Avaya Aura® Device Services.
Leave the Container Type field blank.
Leave the other fields unchanged at default values.
Click Save.
To enable SSO login, you must add an access profile of type EMURL. Steps 16a to 16k show how to add an access profile of type EMURL.
To add an EMURL access profile, on the General tab, in the Access Profile section, perform the following:
Click New.
In the Application System Supported Protocol section, in the Protocol field, click URI.
In the Access Profile Details section, in the Name field, type a name for the access profile.
In the Access Profile Type field, click EMURL.
In the Protocol field, click https.
In the Host field, type the Avaya Aura® Device Services server FQDN.
In the Port field, type 8445.
In the Path field, type /admin.
In the Order field, retain the default value.
In the Description field, type a description of the access profile.
Click Save.
Click Commit.
Next Steps
Go to the System Manager home page and click Device Services in the Elements section.
The Device Services page displays the Avaya Aura® Device Services element you added. After Avaya Aura® Device Services installation is complete, you can click the name of the Avaya Aura® Device Services element to open the Avaya Aura® Device Services home page.
