Creating VPC peering

Last Updated : Jun 08, 2026 |

About this task

In Google Cloud Platform, network interfaces of Avaya Aura® Device Services nodes and Utility Server nodes are located in different VPC networks. Therefore, to enable connectivity between these networks, you must configure VPC network peering.

You must repeat this procedure for each VPC network in your deployment. For example, if you have VPC networks aadsvpc and aadsvpcus, you must create the following peerings:

  • aadsvpc to aadsvpcus

  • aadsvpcus to aadsvpc

Before you begin

Create the required network setup, including Virtual Private Cloud and subnet settings.

Procedure

  1. In the Google Cloud Console, navigate to VPC Network > VPC Network Peering.
  2. Click Create Connection.
  3. In Name, type a name for the VPC peering.
  4. In Your VPC network, enter the name of the network you want to peer.
  5. Select In project <NAME_OF_YOUR_PROJECT>.
  6. In VPC network name, select the VPC network you want to peer with.
  7. Select Import custom routes and Export custom routes check boxes.
  8. Click Create.
  9. Repeat the previous steps for another network in your deployment.
  10. On the VPC network peering page, ensure that the status of the peering that you created is Active.
