Prerequisites for software-only deployment on AWS

  • Use standard Amazon Web Services procedures to create the required network setup, including Virtual Private Cloud and subnet settings.

  • Add records with the following FQDNs to your DNS or AWS Route 53 hosted zone:

    • Avaya Aura® Device Services front-end FQDN.

    • Avaya Aura® Device Services Utility Server FQDN.

  • Ensure that you have an NTP server. You can deploy your own NTP server or use the NTP server provided by AWS.

  • Create key pairs. For more information, see Creating a key pair.

  • If you are deploying an Avaya Aura® Device Services cluster, create load balancer certificates for the following FQDNs:

    • Avaya Aura® Device Services virtual FQDN.

    • Avaya Aura® Device Services Utility Server virtual FQDN.
