In software-only deployments, Avaya Aura® Device Services requires certain packages that RHEL 8.4 or RHEL 8.10 does not include by default. You must manually install the following packages:

• haveged-1.9.14-1.el8.x86_64.rpm or later.

• tomcat-native-1.2.23-1.el8.x86_64.rpm or later. This package is only required if you want to use Avaya Aura® Device Services in FIPS mode.

These packages are available from the Extra Packages for Enterprise Linux (EPEL) Fedora Special Interest Group.

For information about installing packages from the EPEL repository see the EPEL FAQ. You must only install these packages if you deploy Avaya Aura® Device Services as a software-only application.
