After a failed or incomplete installation, app commands, such as app uninstall or app configure, do not work.
Cause
app is an alias command that provides a convenient way to run commonly used application-specific commands. Avaya Aura® Device Services sets up aliases, including app, during installation. If the installation process fails, aliases are not set up properly, so you cannot use them.

Procedure
Reinstall the Avaya Aura® Device Services application.
Log in to the Avaya Aura® Device Services CLI as an administrator.
Run the following commands to uninstall Avaya Aura® Device Services:
cd /opt/Avaya/DeviceServices/<version>/CAS/<version>/uninstaller/
sudo ./uninstallAADS.sh
