Changing the default password for automatic backups

About this task

Change the default password that Avaya Aura® Device Services uses for automatic backups.

Important:

If STIG hardening is enabled, you must configure a password of 15 characters or more.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Avaya Aura® Device Services web administration portal at https://<AADS FQDN or IP>:8445/admin/.

    For more information about the login procedure, see Logging in to the Avaya Aura® Device Services web administration portal in Administering Avaya Aura® Device Services.

  2. Go to Backup Settings > Automatic Backup Configuration.
  3. Select the Change Password check box.
  4. In Backup File Password, type a new password.

    The password must comply with the password complexity rules. To view the rules, point the cursor to the Backup File Password field.

  5. In Re-Enter Password, type the password again.
  6. Click Save.
