When you log in to Avaya Aura® Device Services for the first time you must change the password and then log in again.
Procedure
Log in to the Avaya Aura® Device Services CLI as an administrative user.
You must use the administrative user defined during OVA or software-only deployment process for logging in to Avaya Aura® Device Services.
Avaya Aura® Device Services prompts you to type the password.
Type the password.
Avaya Aura® Device Services displays the following message:
You are required to change your password immediately (root enforced)
WARNING: Your password has expired.
You must change your password now and login again!
Changing password for user admin.
Changing password for admin.
Follow the instruction on the screen to change the password.
Note:
Your new password must include at least 15 characters. If required, you can change the default password complexity rules later using the sys passwdrules command.
After you change the password, Avaya Aura® Device Services closes the SSH session.
