Importing a solution

About this task

Import the solution file that you downloaded from the Avaya Support website to configure your contact center properties. This file contains the configuration tables that you can use to add the required contact center entities to the Power App. The solution file is in ZIP format.

Before you begin

  • Create a Power App for your contact center or use an existing Power App. For more information about creating Power Apps, see the Microsoft documentation.

Procedure

  1. At the top of the Dynamics 365 home page, click the Settings icon.
  2. In the pop-up window, click Advanced Settings.
  3. At the top of the page, next to Settings, click the Arrow down icon.
  4. In the Customization section, click Solutions.

    Dynamics 365 displays the All Solutions page.

  5. At the top of the page, click Import.

    Dynamics 365 displays the Import Solution window.

  6. In the Select Solution Package section, click Choose file and select the required file.
  7. Click Next.
  8. In the Post Import Actions section, select Enable any SDK message processing steps included in the solution.
  9. Click Import.
  10. At the top of the page, click Publish All Customizations.

    Dynamics 365 imports the solution file. You can now add contact center entities to the Power App.

  11. Download the configuration file from the Avaya Support website.
