Adding Avaya Experience Platform Public Cloud to the list of trusted domains

Last Updated : Jan 26, 2024 |

About this task

Add the URLs that point to Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud to the list of trusted domains. If the list of trusted domains contains these URLs, ServiceNow enables you to embed the Avaya Workspaces for CRM softphone in your ServiceNow instance.

Note:

Openframe only processes messages from trusted domains that you specify in the glide.ui.concourse.onmessage_enforce_same_origin_whitelist system property.

Before you begin

  • Obtain the URL of the Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud server from Avaya Support.

  • Build a URL for the URL field when configuring your contact center.

Procedure

  1. On the ServiceNow home page, in Filter navigator, type sys_properties.list and press Enter.
  2. At the top of the page, in Search, type glide.ui.concourse.onmessage_enforce_same_origin_whitelist.
  3. Click the glide.ui.concourse.onmessage_enforce_same_origin_whitelist system property.

ServiceNow displays the system property configuration page.

  4. In Value, enter the following URLs:
    • The URL of your ServiceNow instance

    • The URL of the Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud server

    • The URL that you build for the URL field when configuring your contact center

You can separate the entered URLs with commas, spaces, or new lines.

  5. Optional Fill in the remaining fields.

For more information about configuring system properties, see the ServiceNow documentation.

  6. At the top of the page, click Update.
