Updating the signaling port in a deployment with Avaya Session Border Controller

About this task

You can enable a customized signaling port on Avaya Session Border Controller by updating the signaling interface and mapping for Session Manager.

Before you begin

Ensure that you have configured Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway and Personal Profile Manager (PPM) mapping profiles for Session Manager.

Procedure

  1. Perform the following steps to update the signaling interface on Avaya Session Border Controller:
    1. Go to Network & Flows > Signaling Interface.
    2. Locate the signaling interface communicating with Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway.
    3. Update the signaling interface communicating with Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway with a different port of Avaya Session Border Controller, to ensure that no other interface is updated.
    4. Update the listening port for Session Manager in the TLS Port field.
  2. Perform the following steps to update Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway and PPM mapping on Avaya Session Border Controller:
    1. Go to DMZ Services > PPM Mapping.
    2. In the Mapping Profiles column, locate hcg-ppm mapping.
    3. To edit the mapping profile, click Edit for the selected server type.
    4. In the SBC Device area of the Edit Mapping Profile page, update the value in the Mapped IP/Port field.
    5. Click Finish.
