Configuring SIP trunks for Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway on System Manager

About this task

Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway sends SIP messages to Session Manager port 5061 using TLS.

You must configure Session Manager with Listen Port 5061 and Protocol TLS to receive the SIP messages.

Procedure

  1. Go to the System Manager web console.
  2. In the left pane, click Elements > Routing > SIP Entities.
  3. To create a new SIP entity for Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway, click New.
  4. On the SIP Entity Details screen, do the following:
    1. In the Name field, type the name of Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway.
    2. From the IP Address Family drop-down list, click IPv4.
    3. In the FQDN or IPv4 Address field, type the IP address of Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway node.
    4. From the Type drop-down list, click SIP Trunk.
    5. From the Location drop-down list, select your location.
    6. From the Time Zone drop-down list, select a timezone.
    7. Ensure that the value in the SIP Timer B/F (in seconds) field is set to 4.
    8. From the SIP Link Monitoring drop-down list, click Link Monitoring Enabled.
    9. From the CRLF Keep Alive Monitoring drop-down list, click CRLF Monitoring Disabled.
  5. In the Entity Links area, click Add.
  6. Ensure that the following is set while populating the SIP Entity 1 field:
    • Protocol: TLS

    • Port: 5061

    • Connection Policy: trusted

  7. Click Commit.

    System Manager adds the new SIP entity.

    Repeat the steps to configure the SIP trunk for each Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway Cluster node.
