Uninstalling an existing Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway node from the cluster system

Last Updated : Jul 21, 2023 |

Procedure

  1. Move an existing Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway node into the maintenance mode.

The cluster system treats this existing node as obsolete and moves the user registrations gradually from the obsolete node to the other nodes.

The obsolete node keeps servicing an agent until the agent moves to any other node. The cluster system moves the user registration even if the user has a call on the obsolete node. However, the cluster system preserves all the calls on the obsolete node.

    Note:

Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway cannot move the call state from the obsolete node to other nodes.

  2. To track the movement of registrations, you can view the counters for registration and active calls remaining on the obsolete node.
  3. When the active calls counter displays 0, initiate uninstallation of the obsolete node.
  4. Run the following command to uninstall the Avaya Hybrid Cloud Gateway application: app uninstall
