Transferring an outbound call to an Avaya Cloud Office contact

About this task

You can transfer an outbound call to an Avaya Cloud Office™ contact from all tabs of the Corporate Contacts widget. You can first talk to the contact on an active call and decide if you require Avaya Cloud Office™ contact's assistance.

Before you begin

Ensure that you are on an outbound call with the contact.

Procedure

  1. On the Users tab, search for the contact or locate it in the Favorites list.

    You can also search for the contact on the Groups or Chats tab.

  2. Next to the contact, click the Transfer icon.

    On the Users and Groups tabs, the option to transfer the call is next to the contact name. On the Chats tab, the option is at the top of the chat pane.

    Avaya Workspaces initiates a call transfer with the Avaya Cloud Office™ contact.
