Sending a message in an Avaya Cloud Office group conversation

About this task

You can send a message in a conversation of an Avaya Cloud Office™ group from the Groups tab. You cannot reply to the previous messages in that conversation. If you have unread messages, you can see a red dot next to the Groups tab name and the corresponding group.

You can send plain text messages, format the text as bold, italics, underscore, strikethrough, and add links. You can receive plain text, rich text content, and emojis. You cannot edit and delete messages in a conversation. However, you can see if an Avaya Cloud Office™ contact edited a message.

The Avaya Cloud Office™ administrator creates and manages groups.

Procedure

  1. On the Groups tab, click the group to send a message.
  2. In the conversation pane, type your message and click the Send icon.
