Visual indicators for network issues

Avaya Workspaces uses visual indicators to indicate network connectivity issues. The agent receives a visual indication within 30 seconds of network disconnection. The supervisor receives a visual indication in the My Agents widget that the agent's network is unavailable or the agent has not closed the browser correctly.

When network connectivity is restored for an agent, the following is expected:

  • Visual indicator disappears for the agent.

  • Visual indicator disappears in the My Agents widget for this agent.

  • Digital channels are recovered.

  • Voice channel is recovered.

Incoming interactions during the network issues are updated after the network connectivity is restored.

When the network is down, and an agent attempts any actions, for example, hold, transfer, or start new call, the agent receives an error message.
