Use the following checklist to ensure that you perform all steps required for successfully configuring the Avaya Workspaces for CRM integration with Salesforce:

Add the Azure Active Directory SAML Toolkit.

2.

Open the Azure Active Directory SAML Toolkit and configure several URLs.

You must ensure that you use the correct format for the URLs.

Relay State is optional. Avaya recommends configuring Logout URL to ensure that users have a better logout experience.

3.

If your deployment uses uppercase domain names, you must ensure that the format converts to lowercase for Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud.

This is an optional step. If your domain name already uses lowercase, you do not require this step.

You must add each SSO user to Dynamics 365.

You must also add each SSO user to Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud. This procedure is listed below.

5.

Add the Dynamics 365 domain name to the Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud allowlist.

You must ensure that messages coming from Dynamics 365 are not blocked by Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud.

You must add the Dynamics 365 domain as an allowlisted domain in Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud. This is necessary in order to be able to create users.

6.

Download a metadata file from Dynamics 365.

This file is called Federation Metadata XML.

7.

Upload the metadata file to Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud.

You must add the metadata file from Dynamics 365 to the Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud element inventory.

8.

Creating SSO users in Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud.

You must create users with a login ID that exactly matches their Dynamics 365 login ID.
