For the Citrix UC SDK to function with the Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge (Chromium) browsers, the Citrix administrator must register the binary of the browsers with the Citrix redirection service. The Citrix administrator must register this in the VDI desktop registry.
Before you begin
Add the key and directory if they are unavailable. The key value is a comma-separated list of process names.
Procedure
Open the Registry Editor window.
Go to Computer > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > WOW6432Node > Citrix > WebSocketService.
Right-click WebSocketService, and click New > Multi-String Value.
Specify the Key Name as ProcessWhitelist.
Right-click ProcessWhitelist, and click Modify.
In the Value data field, enter the following:
chrome.exe
msedge.exe
Click OK.
After configuring the keys, restart the CtxHdxWebSocketService service from Task Manager.
CtxHdxWebSocketService is Citrix HDX HTML5 Video Redirection Service.
