Avaya Cloud Office dedicated SIP trunking

Last Updated : Jun 06, 2024 |

You can use Avaya Cloud Office™ dedicated SIP trunking to route calls directly between Avaya Cloud Office™ and AXP Public Cloud. To use the dedicated SIP trunking, after configuring the integration, you must open a ticket on the OneCare Portal with your tenant details. To enable Avaya Cloud Office™ SIP trunking, you must obtain an Avaya Cloud Office™ hybrid ID from RingCentral. For more information about the dedicated SIP trunking, contact Avaya Support.

You can export user phone numbers and extensions available in Application Center Administration and import them to Avaya Cloud Office™ Admin Portal. If dedicated SIP trunking is enabled, Avaya Cloud Office™ users can use the imported phone numbers and extensions to call Avaya Workspaces agents and supervisors. For more information about exporting user phone numbers and extensions, see Exporting phone numbers.

With dedicated SIP trunking enabled, you can also enable Avaya Cloud Office™ extension calling in Avaya Workspaces. Agents and supervisors use Avaya Cloud Office™ extensions as default numbers when calling and transferring calls to Avaya Cloud Office™ contacts. For more information about enabling extension calling, see Adding Avaya Cloud Office to Element Inventory.
