Single sign-on (SSO) is an authentication method that enables users to securely authenticate with multiple applications and websites by using one set of credentials. AXP Public Cloud supports SSO for agent and supervisor login to the Corporate Contacts widget with Microsoft Teams credentials. If SSO is configured, after agents and supervisors log in to Avaya Workspaces with their Microsoft credentials, they are automatically signed in to the Microsoft Teams provider on the Corporate Contacts widget and do not have to enter their credentials again.
The login request from Avaya Workspaces is redirected to the identity provider (IdP) configured for the AXP Public Cloud tenant. After the user authentication, the IdP sends the authentication token to Avaya Workspaces to validate a successful authentication. Avaya Workspaces redirects the token to AXP Public Cloud, which validates it and then grants access to the Corporate Contacts widget.
