Create an enterprise SAML application on the Microsoft Azure portal to enable integration between AXP Public Cloud and Microsoft Teams for SSO login. For more information about creating applications on the Microsoft Azure portal, see the Microsoft identity platform documentation.
Before you begin
Ensure you have the following details:
Microsoft Azure portal administrator credentials.
Cluster Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) and tenant ID for your AXP Public Cloud account. For more information about obtaining the cluster FQDN and tenant ID, contact Avaya Support.
In the Azure services section of the Welcome page, click Enterprise applications.
On the All applications page, click New application and then click Create your own application.
In the Create your own application section, type the application name and select Integrate any other application you don't find in the gallery (Non-gallery).
The application name must be unique and must not contain special characters or spaces.
Click Create.
When the application is created, on the application page, in the Manage navigation pane section, click Single sign-on.
On the Single sign-on page, click SAML.
On the Set up Single Sign-On with SAML page, in the Basic SAML Configuration section, click Edit.
In the Identifier (Entity ID), Reply URL (Assertion Consumer Service URL), and Sign on URL fields, type the Avaya Workspaces account URL in the following format: https://<cluster FQDN>/auth/realms/<tenant ID>.
For example, https://domain.avayacloud.com/auth/realms/ABCDE
Click Save.
You can see the saved SSO details with SAML configuration.
Next Steps
On the SAML-based Sign-on page, in the SAML Certificates section, download the federation metadata .xml file. You need this file for SAML configuration in Application Center Administration.
