Configuring the voice channel for Proactive Outreach

About this task

Configure the voice channel to assign the context data rule that you added for Proactive Outreach to the phone number generated for Proactive Outreach. Avaya Workspaces uses the phone number generated for Proactive Outreach to run campaigns. You can select the queue and attributes that apply to Proactive Outreach interactions.

Note:

The number generated for Proactive Outreach starts with +830.

Before you begin

  • Log in to Application Center Administration as an account administrator.

  • Add a context data rule for Proactive Outreach.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation tree, click Channels > Voice.
  2. On the My Numbers page, for the number generated for Proactive Outreach, click the Three Dots icon > Configure routing settings.
  3. Enable the Apply Context Data Matching switch.
  4. In the Available Rules area, for the context data rule that you created for Proactive Outreach, select the check box.
  5. Click the Arrow Right icon.

    Application Center Administration displays the selected context data rule in the Assigned Rules area.

  6. Optional Repeat steps 4–5 until you assign all context data rules that you added for Proactive Outreach to the phone number generated for Proactive Outreach.

    You can assign a maximum of 50 context data rules to a phone number. The recommended maximum number of rules to assign is 35.

  7. Optional Fill in the remaining fields.
  8. Click Save.
