Adding the Outbound Agent Connector widget to the layout

About this task

Add the Outbound Agent Connector widget to the added layout to enable Avaya Workspaces to connect to the Proactive Outreach server. You must add the Outbound Agent Connector widget to the default tab on the Home view.

Important:

Add the Outbound Agent Connector widget only to the Home view and do not add this widget more than once to a single layout, as it might cause connectivity issues and prevent your agents from making outbound interactions.

Before you begin

  • Log in to Application Center Administration as an administrator with the Workspaces Admin Widgets Administrators role.

  • Add a layout to use it for configuring Proactive Outreach widgets.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation tree, click Workspaces > Layout Manager.
  2. For the Proactive Outreach layout, click the Edit icon.
  3. On the Views tab, select the Home icon.
  4. For the default tab, click the Edit icon.

    The default tab is marked by the Star icon.

  5. In the Select a Layout area, in the top row, select the second widget layout.

    The layout has two vertical widget slots of the same size.

  6. In the Select Widgets area, click the first widget slot and select Outbound Agent Connector from the list.
  7. For the second widget, select the Welcome Page widget.
  8. Click Save.
