Assigning an emergency location to a user

About this task

Assign an emergency location to a user to enable the user to select it after logging in to Avaya Workspaces. To assign an emergency location to a user, add it for the account. Avaya Workspaces passes the emergency location that the user selects to the emergency service provider when the user makes an emergency call.

Before you begin

Add at least one emergency location for the account.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation tree, click User Management > Users.
  2. On the Users page, for the user to edit, click the Three Dots icon and then click Edit.
  3. Scroll down and expand the Address section.
  4. Click New > Assign from Account.

    Application Center Administration displays the Assign Address pane.

  5. In the Account Addresses field, select one or more emergency locations.
  6. Optional To assign all emergency locations, click Select All.
  7. Click Assign.
  8. At the top of the Users page, click Save.
