User passwords must comply with the Avaya Experience Platform™ Public Cloud password policies. User passwords expire every 90 days. When users create a new password, they must ensure that the password complies with the following rules:
The password must contain a minimum of 8 characters. By default, user passwords can contain up to 14 characters.
The password must contain at least one uppercase letter, lowercase letter, digit, and special character.
Users cannot reuse their latest password.
Users cannot use the same character more than two consecutive times. For example, users cannot use "aaa" or "333" in their passwords.
Users cannot use more than four of the same character types consecutively. For example, users cannot use more than four uppercase letters, lowercase letters, digits, or special characters consecutively.
Users cannot use their login names as their passwords. For example, if an agent's login name is "Agent1-APAC", the agent cannot use "Agent1-APAC" as the password.
