Configuring the languages

About this task

Configure the languages of Summarization, Knowledge Base, and Frequently Asked Questions.

Note:

Knowledge Base and Frequently Asked Questions are not supported in non-English languages.

You can add the following supported languages:

  • Danish

  • Dutch

  • English

  • French

  • German

  • Hindi

  • Italian

  • Japanese

  • Portuguese (Brazil)

  • Portuguese (Portugal)

  • Spanish

  • Swedish

Before you begin

Ensure that you create a category and an attribute for the respective language in the Contact Center > Attributes.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation tree, click Contact Center > Agent Assist.
  2. In the Language tab, click Add New Language.
  3. Enable the switches for the features you want to configure:
    • Summarization

    • Frequently Asked Questions

    • Knowledge Base

  4. In the Select Languages menu, select the language.
  5. In the Select Provider menu, select the provider you created previously.
  6. In the Conversation profile name menu, type a name for the conversation profile.
  7. To make the current language settings the default configuration, enable the Default Configuration switch.
  8. Click Save.
